Martial arts has influenced china so much that when people hear something about china they instantly think martial arts. People in china use martial arts in spiritual ways, active ways and social ways. People practice it to compete in competitions, become healthier or to just become more social. Martial arts has had a major impact on chinese religion, with most of their religions having some form of martial arts. It can be practiced to connect someone with the spirit world, self-confrontation, trying to achieve balance between body and mind, and finding inner happiness inside one's-self. Either way you look at it, martial arts has had a major impact on the general lifestyles of chinese people, shaping their lives, behaviours and traditions.
